PFMA is a state recognized non-profit, and our Program operating costs are covered by our ongoing fundraising: Friends of the Market memberships, sales of Market Goods, Donations, Program Sponsorships, grant funding, and farmer support. SNAP/EBT Access & Wooden Tokens
Use your SNAP/EBT card to get wooden tokens that can be used to shop at any farm vendors booth who sells food products!
Thanks to Maine Harvest Bucks, we also offer a nutrition incentive to SNAP customers. For every 10 dollars spent with SNAP at our market, we match your purchase with 10 dollars in bonus tokens to spend on fruits, vegetables at food-bearing seedlings and plants from any farm vendor at the market!
Credit/debit tokens are no longer available for purchase at the Market Info Booth (but Bumper Crop gift certificates are!). Any purple credit/debit tokens on hand can still be spent at our farmers' booths. Most, but NOT ALL, farmers accept credit/debit at their booths. Please BRING CASH to shop with all farmers.
